Welcome to my little garden blog. I decided to start this as a way to keep my garden efforts in one place. It started life as a blog about edible gardening, but I had such bad luck with growing vegetables in 2010 that I decided to make it more general in scope.

I live in Shoreline, a suburb north of Seattle, with my husband, two cats, and a dog, all of whom help me in the yard from time to time. I’ve been teaching myself about gardening in the 10+ years we’ve lived here, but I still have a lot to learn!
